Solar Farm

EDMS Australia have successfully completed the mechanical installation of the Nextracker Solar Tracker System and 247,950 photovoltaic solar panels at Rugby Run. The last solar panel was installed on the 23rd October and the final MDR handed over to Adani Global Pte Limited on 31st October 2018.

The pure quantity of components, the number of people, diverse tooling and equipment required to install the system presented a logistic challenge, which demanded EDMS Australia be disciplined, continually refine the installation methodology and be meticulous in its execution. Minor delays to the installation had the potential to impact the project cost significantly.

Rugby Run is the second large scale solar farm EDMS Australia has completed the mechanical installation. In-house design and manufacture of strategic equipment has enabled EDMS to provide an efficient, high quality installation very competitively.
